Nails with a bow

I got a new polish called Green Up Your Act from Nicole by OPI. So I just did all my nails with that color and on just both ring fingers, I made a bow. The knot of the bow is a silver rhinestone and the bow part I used little beads that I got from a store Daiso. I don't know if you've ever heard of it, but it's a Japanese store that sells a bit of everything from household stuff to school stuff to even nail stuff. The design is really cute, but it took time to make the bow since I had to put the beads one by one. Anyways. The color on my nail looks blu-ish, but the real color is on the bottle. Hope you guys like it!

Ladybug Nails!

Ok this ladybug design is by far my favorite! So I started off using OPI The Thrill of Brazil to make a curve on half of my nail. Then using Art Club Nail Art Black, I first made the head of the ladybug trying to make it an oval as much as possible, second making a triangle in the middle of the wings to make them look split, and third making the antennas, leaving enough room for the dots at the end of the antennas making the designs a bit cuter. Using a dotting tool and L.A. Colors Art Deco Yellow, I made dots on the wings and I know it kind of looks orange in the picture. Anyways, you can use any colors you want. To finish the look, I dotted eyes on the head. Hope you enjoy the design!

Checkered nails

Hello! So this weekend I'm going to Moto GP and I wanted to do my nails that would go hand in hand with Moto GP. What did I think of? The checkered flag they wave when winner cross the finish line, but instead of black and white, I did black and blue since my favorite color is blue after all. I used L.A. Girl Flare Turquoise for the background and let that dry for a few minutes. I did struggle on how to do the checkers so I just used my Art Club Nail Art Black to make the individual squares. It took forever and does not look perfect, but practice does make perfect.

Pink and Purple Dots

Can't get enough dots? Like I said in the last post, this is one of my favorite. I started off with Sally Hansen's White Tip, then took Sinful Colors Beautiful Girl and made dots vertically in the middle of my nail trying to make the dots evenly apart. That alone is cute enough.
Then I continued making dots on both sides of the pink with Sally Hansen's Lively Lilac and finished off the ends with another row of pink and there you go! If you don't have a dotting tool, easiest thing, you can use a tooth pick or other objects with pointed ends. Of course you don't have to use pink and purple. You can use any color combination you want. You can do green and blue or yellow and orange. Hope you guys like it!

Vertical Strips with Dots

Hello people. At the rate I'm going, I'm probably going to do one post per month which sucks. Anyways, starting off June. I have strips on half my nail and added dots to the bottom of the strips. I started off painting only half of my nail diagonally with China Glaze Light As Air which I borrowed from a dear friend. Thank you friend! I don't know if you could tell in the picture but Light As Air is a very light lilac color. I took many pictures and it either turned out looking light blue or pink, never a shade of purple. Once that dried, I took my black Art Club Nail Art polish with its thin brush to make the lines. I tried making it evenly spread out and it takes a pretty steady hand to make the lines straight. Then with a medium dotting tool, I put black dots below the straights kind of finishing off the design. It looked weird with just lines especially since its only half the nail. Finish off with a clear coat and you're set!

Prom Nails

I was suppose to post this blog a month ago, but I've been lagging. So since this is the time when prom happens and I just wanted to share what nail design I had when I went to prom. My dress was white with some gold details. Being me, I wanted something really simple and something that would match my dress. Nothing too fancy. Using Sally Hansen's White Tip, I did a french tip then using L.A. Colors Art Deco Gold lined the bottom of the tip and there you go!
